  Surrendering Endowment Policies

If you have decided to dispose of your endowment policies and would like to know if you could get more money by selling them on the traded endowment market, rather than surrendering the endowment policies back to the original life office that issued them, all you have to do is fill in the form below. The details will enable the valuers to assess the "trade in value" and report back to you. If you have more than one policy, simply use the form again. Please note: only "with profits" policies are saleable, "unit linked" policies are not bought by the traders.

(You can determine if your policy is a unit linked or with profits policy by looking at the last annual statement. With profits endowment policies will use words like "annual bonus, reversionary bonus, total bonuses to date", whereas unit linked policies will use words like "managed fund, initial units, capital units, bid value of units". Please only fill in the form if your endowment policies are "with profits" policies. "Unit linked" policies will not be bought.)

Please fill in all fields - missing information can be obtained directly from your last annual bonus statement posted to you by the life company, and/or the original policy schedule.
